Dan was honoured to be asked to perform at a concert at the INEC in Killarney in memory of the late Aine Nic Ghabhann who passed away suddenly earlier this year. Aine was a well known character in the music world and Dan is privileged to be the current holder of the ‘Aine Nic Ghabhann Award for Vocal Repertoire’ from the competition, ‘Feile an tSamhraidh’ in Midleton, Cork in 2013.
The concert was a great success and the INEC being such a big venue is hard to fill but was very full on the night in question.
Other acts performing on the night included Killarney School of Music, Kingdom Music Academy, Eimear Collins (Soprano), Jamie Rock, Killorglin Ladies VEC Choir at lots more.
Proceeds from the concert went to two very noble causes; Kerry Rape Crisis Centre and South West Counselling Centre.
