The day begun with a Mass Celebrated at 2.30pm at St. Mary’s Church in Innishannon by Right Rev. Monsignor Gearóid Dullea, descendant of the Harris Family and cousin of Dan. Dan performed a varied repertoire of sacred music at this Mass, remembering those from the Harris Family that have passed on with some latin sacred music and also performed some contemporary sacred music to bring the Harris Family into the future.
Following that, some of those present visited to the Harris Family Grave at the rear of the church.
The group then moved on to Innishannon House Hotel where there was a very interesting talk on the family history.
