Dan is thrilled to have been awarded a Distinction (93%) in a Singing Performance Diploma he completed in May 2015 with Trinity College London! The Performance Diploma is called a Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL).
After approximately 9 months of preparation, Dan did his Performance Diploma Exam on Tuesday 26th May 2015 at CIT Cork School of Music. The exam involved performing a very extensive repertoire spanning many genres for a period of almost 45 minutes.
Dan performed pieces from composers such as Bach, Verdi, Fauré, Schubert, Mozart, Britten, Barber and Rossini to a very high standard on the day of the exam.
Dan wishes to thank those who helped him on his journey towards his success in this exam. A big thanks to his singing teachers; Mr. Bob Beare (former teacher at Cork School of Music) and Mr. Stephen Wallace from DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama, to Mr. George Dunne who also helped in a big towards the general exam preparation. Also, a big thanks to the very talented Ms. Mary McCague for accompanying Dan on piano for the exam!
