Dan was delighted to be part of the commemoration of the sinking of the Lusitania at a Memorial Concert which took place on Friday 8th May 2015 at St. Multose Church in Kinsale at 7.30pm.
It is 100 years since the awful tragedy of the Lusitania sinking off the Old Head of Kinsale and it is fitting that this special Memorial Concert was held in Kinsale among other parts of the county.
Appropriate music was performed on the night, fitting to this awful tragedy which has never been forgotten. A commentary was given throughout the night also by well known Kinsale Historian, Dermot Ryan.
