Dan was delighted to be asked to perform as part of a production at ‘Cork School of Music’ entitled ‘The Opera Director’. The production was an English adaptation of ‘Der Schauspieldirektor’ by W.A Mozart written by Tom Doyle who organised the production as a recital as part of his MA in Performance at Cork School of Music. There was a fantastic orchestra as part of the production, directed by Tom Doyle. Dan performed as the character ‘Joe’ in the production which was indeed great fun and great experience.
Dan had the privilege of performing along with great household names on the stage including Jim Mulcahy and Fionula Linehan. Other great people on the cast were Al D’alton, Emma Power and Kate Falvey. The show was directed by the wonderful Christopher Doyle with the help of Danielle Hayes and many backstage crew, too many to mention.
