Dan is thrilled to have been awarded a Distinction (90%) in the Grade 8 Practical Singing Examination which he completed in June of 2014! The Examination was run by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), which is a highly regarded achievement throughout the world! Dan is very indebted to his Vocal Teacher, Mr. Robert Beare and Music Theory Teacher, Mr. George Dunne for their fantastic work in bringing Dan to this level. Dan’s accompanist on the day of the Examination was the very talented Eoin Scanlon, a Masters student at Cork School of Music.

In March of 2014, Dan completed Grade 5 Music Theory Examination with The Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). Dan was again delighted to be awarded a Distinction (90%) in this Examination which was a terrific result! Dan is very indebted to Mr. George Dunne, his Music Theory Teacher for preparing him so well for that examination.
