Dan really enjoyed competing and performing at the 60th Cork International Choral Festival at the May Bank Holiday Weekend 2014 as a member of ‘Voci Nuove Chamber Choir’ and ‘The Carrigaline Choral Group’.
With ‘The Carrigaline Choral Group’ Dan competed in the National Open Competition for Mixed Choirs and the National Open Competition for Church Music. Dan was happy that this choir were placed second in the National Open Competition for Mixed Choirs!
With ‘Voci Nuove Chamber Choir’ Dan competed in the Fleischmann International Trophy Competition and the Ireland’s Choir of the Year Competition. Voci Nuove Chamber Choir were happy to be placed second in the Ireland’s Choir of the Year Competition and fifth in the Fleischmann International Trophy Competition. Voci Nuove also received some special awards for their efforts over the weekend.
