Dan will be performing at the Robert’s Cove Vintage Festival on Sunday 5th August 2012. On the day Dan will perform a varied repertoire of music to suit all tastes.
Showcase at the Historic and Romantic Lismore Castle, Sun 19th Aug 2012, 2pm – 6pm:
Dan will showcase his services at the Waterford Wedding Show, hosted by Events Ireland at Lismore Castle, Co. Waterford on Sunday 19th August 2012 from 2pm to 6pm.
Dan will perform on the afternoon, accompanied by the exceptionally talented Mary McCague. Why not come along and meet Dan, the 2012 Voice of Ireland contestant on the day? Dan will discuss with you any needs you have for your special day.

Southern Brides Wedding Show at Silver Springs Moran Hotel – Sat 29th & Sun 30th Sept 2012:
On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2012, Dan will again have a stand at the Southern Brides Wedding Show at Silver Springs Moran Hotel in Cork. Dan had two very successful days there in January 2012 where up to 1,500 real brides came in the door of the hotel! Dan performed twice each day to a lot of onlookers and this was followed by lots of enquiries at his stand. Dan looks forward to meeting future brides and grooms there on the day!

Dan performed in concert at St. Coleman’s Cathedral Cloyne, Cork – Friday 13th July 2012:
Dan performed at a wonderful concert in St. Coleman’s Cathedral, Cloyne on Friday 13th July last at 8.00pm. The concert was in aid of the Cathedral Restoration Fund. The event was supported very well by all and was thoroughly enjoyable.
Dan performed in concert at Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty, Cork – Saturday 23rd June 2012:
Dan performed at a concert at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Clonakilty on Sat 23rd June 2012 to mark the Flower Festival which took place at the various churches in the town there. A huge crowd packed the church there to what was a very enjoyable and memorable concert. On the night, Dan performed pieces such as ‘Nella Fantasia’, ‘Sway’, ‘Panis Angelicus’, ‘Bantry Bay’ and ‘Once Upon Another Time’. Other acts on the night included the Clonakilty Brass Band, Ré Nua, The Allergia String Quartet and many more. All proceeds from this concert and the Flower Festival went to Cystic Fibrosis.
Dan in Concert at Cork City Hall – Monday 11th June 2012:
Dan performed in concert at Cork City Hall on Monday 11th June along with ‘The Blackhawk Chorus’, a mixed voice choir from California. It was a fantastic night where ‘The Blackhawk Chorus’ from San Francisco performed all light music from musicals. Dan complimented this by performing a varied repertoire of pieces such as ‘O Sole Mio’, ‘Oh Shenandoah’, ‘Sway’, ‘Lift the Wings’ and ‘Because We Believe’. It was indeed a fantastic night! All proceeds from the concert went towards ‘The Mercy University Hospital Foundation’, Cork.

Dan attended the Grand Final of ‘The Voice of Ireland’ on Sunday 29th April 2012:
Dan was invited as a guest to The Helix, DCU to attend the Grand Final of ‘The Voice of Ireland’, of which he was a contestant. It was a very exciting time for him as he met most of his fellow contestants again and waited for the final result of the competition. Pat Byrne from Borris in Co. Carlow was announced the winner of ‘The Voice of Ireland’ on the night.
Performed at Variety Concert in Minane Bridge GAA Hall, Cork – Fri 13th April 2012:
Dan performed in his local GAA Hall on Friday 13th April 2012 as part of a Variety Concert, fundraising for cancer research. It was a very enjoyable night overall where Dan was honoured locally for his involvement in ‘The Voice of Ireland’ on RTE ONE.
Performance at ‘Friends of Marymount Hospice’ Charity Lunch, Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork – Wed 28th March 2012:
Dan was a source of entertainment when he performed at a Charity Lunch at the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork – in aid of the ‘Friends of Marymount Hospice’. On the day, Dan performed a few pieces of varying styles to a packed lunch of over 300 people. Marymount Hospice do such remarkable work for those with illness and it was nice for Dan to give of his talents for the occasion!
Cork Weddings and Balloons Charity Wedding Fair – Sunday 25th March 2012 – The Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island, Cork, 2.00pm – 6.00pm:
Dan showcased himself on Sunday 25th March at a Charity Wedding Fair at The Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island, Cork (hosted by Cork Weddings and Balloons). The fair took place between 2.00pm and 6.00pm.

St, Patrick’s Festival Performance, Cork City – Sunday 18th March 2012, 2.00pm:
Dan performed as part of the St. Patrick’s Festival on Sunday 18th March 2012 at 2.30pm on the ‘Living social stage’ on St. Patrick’s Street, Cork (outside Eason’s). Dan was accompanied on the day by Colm O’ Regan and met lots of people afterwards who wished to see him after his appearance on ‘The Voice of Ireland’ on RTE ONE recently. Please come along to support and take in the city centre atmosphere on the day!
‘A Song for Spring’ – Sat 10th March 2012, Ballinadee Church, Cork, 8.00pm:
Dan performed in concert on Saturday 10th March at 8.00pm at Ballinadee Church (between Bandon and Ballinaspittle), Cork. It was a very entertaining night with a host of favourite melodies being sung to suit all ages. Other acts on the night were Louise O’ Sullivan (Mezzo-Soprano), Carol Kennedy (Soprano) and Chorus of Opera Cork (conducted by Frank Buckley and accompanied by Annabel Adams). The narrator on the night was Kevin Goggin. Proceeds of the concert went towards Ballinadee National School.
Fota Island Resort Wedding Showcase – Sun 26th Feb 2012:
Dan had a stand at the Wedding Showcase in the Fota Island Resort Hotel, Cork on Sunday 26th February 2012 from 12.00pm to 5.00pm. His stand was located at the Golf Clubhouse to the rear of the main hotel and was performing throughout what was a very busy afternoon for him.
Cork International Airport Hotel Wedding Showcase – Sun 19th Feb 2012:
Dan had a stand at the Wedding Showcase in the Cork International Airport Hotel on Sunday 19th February 2012 from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. His stand was located at the hotel foyer and he was also be performing throughout the afternoon.
Dan performed on ‘The Voice of Ireland Battle Show’ on Sunday 12th February!
On Sunday 12th February 2012, Dan performed with Soprano, Vanessa Whelan from Waterford on Sharon Corr’s Team in ‘The Voice of Ireland‘ at 6.30pm on RTE ONE. Previously Dan performed ‘Nella Fantasia’ on Sunday 8th January and was delighted to be selected by Sharon Corr when she pressed the button and her big red chair turned around!! Unfortunately, Dan did not qualify for the next round of the competition.

Performance at fundraising concert for Marymount Hospice at the 5 Star Castlemartyr Resort, Cork – Fri 3rd Feb 2012:
Dan performed at a recent, highly successful fundraising concert for Marymount Hospice. This was held at the luxury 5 Star Castlemartyr Resort to which an audience of over 25o attended. The Minane Bridge native performed along with Sopranos; Emma Kate Tobia and Carol Kennedy, both from Kinsale and Louise O’ Sullivan from Shanbally, Ringaskiddy. Thanks also to Chorus of Opera Cork under to baton of Frank Buckley and to the accompanist on the night, Annabel Adams.
Carlton Hotel, Kinsale Wedding Showcase – Sun 22nd Jan 2012:
Dan had a stand at the recent Wedding Showcase held at the Carlton Hotel in Kinsale, Cork on Sunday 22nd January 2012 which was another very successful day with lots of different items on offer for all aspects of your wedding day.

Dan Twomey has been revealed as a contestant of ‘The Voice of Ireland’ on RTE ONE!
On Sunday 8th January 2012 at approximately 7.30pm, an hour into the debut episode of ‘The Voice of Ireland’, households around County Cork, and indeed nationwide and abroad got the shock of their lives when Dan Twomey, native of Minane Bridge, Co. Cork came on screen on front of their very own eyes!! Dan appearing on the first episode indeed created a bit of a stir among those who know of him! After being interviewed by presenter of the show Kathryn Thomas, Dan introduced his parents Jim and Teresa to her and also his Voice Coach in Cork; Soprano, Fiona O’ Reilly. Following that Dan proceeded to the Blind Audition stage where he performed a worldwide known captivating piece, ‘Nella Fantasia’ to the backs of the red chairs of four prospective coaches; Bressie, Sharon Corr, Kian Egan and Brian Kennedy.
Luckily, towards the end of his song Sharon Corr’s pushed the button on her red chair and turned around qualifying him for the next stage of the competition, a step closer in the race for ‘The Voice of Ireland’!

Dan performed at ‘The Curtis Auditorium’ at Cork’s School of Music on Sunday 18th December 2011:
On Sunday 18th December 2011, a concert entitled ‘Cook Up a Carol’ was held at ‘The Curtis Auditorium’ at Cork’s School of Music.
The full proceeds of the concert will be in aid of a very noble charity, the ‘Arc Cancer Support House’, based in O’ Donovan Rossa Road in Cork City.
Dan performed at the concert ‘Saviours Day’, accompanied by ‘Carrigaline Choral Group’ (of which Dan is a member); Voci de Vecchi, The Manbrugh Quintet, St. John’s Girls NS Choir Carrigaline and a Band and Orchestra consisting of past and present students of Cork School of Music.
It was a very moving concert for all involved, and of course for the audience, adding to the Christmas spirit!

Dan performs at ‘Christmas at the Lough’ Concert:
On Sunday 11th December 2011, Dan performed to a packed audience at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough, Cork City. It was a Fundraising Concert for St. Finbarr’s Hurling & Football Club. The Compere on the night was well known Corkonian, Billa O’ Connell. On the night, Dan joined other acts such as ‘Chorus of Opera Cork’, led by Frank Buckley; ‘The Barrack Street Band’; ‘The Cork Tenors’; Emma Kate Tobia (Soprano) and ‘The Polyphonics’.
On the night Dan performed well known favourites; ‘Ave Maria’ (Bach/Gounod) and ‘Panis Angelicus’ (Cesar Franck). A very enjoyable night was had by the audience in attendance.
Dan performs at Christmas Concerts at Fota House, Co. Cork:
On Sunday 4th December and Thursday 8th December 2011, Dan performed at Christmas Concerts held in the Gallery Room of the enchanting Fota House in Co. Cork. Dan is a member of The Carrigaline Choral Group who sang a major part of the concert from Christmas Favourites to other less well known pieces. Dan added to the atmosphere on both nights by performing ‘Bantry Bay’, ‘Time to Say Goodbye’ and ‘O Holy Night’.
Dan performs at a Fundraising Concert at St. Mary’s Church, Passage West, Co. Cork:
On Friday 18th November 2011, Dan performed at a Fundraising Concert at St. Mary’s Church, Passage West. Other guests on the night were Frank Buckley and Chorus of Opera Cork, Fiona O’ Reilly – Soprano and Annabel Adams – Accompanist.
Dan performed on the night a varied repertoire of music such as ‘Bring Him Home’ from Les Miserables, ‘The Kerry Dances’, ‘La Donna e Mobile’, ‘Speak Softly Love’, ‘All I ask of You’, ‘Time to Say Goodbye’, ‘Nella Fantasia’ and ‘The Merry Widow Waltz’.

Welcome to my website which was launched on the first week of December 2011.
I have also recently had new marketing material printed as we enter into 2012.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank especially Jill Cotter, Photographer who took beautiful photographs of me for the purpose of my new website and accompanying marketing material.
